There is only one thing preventing me from switching over to gIRC from mIRC, my settings. There are a lot of settings, scripts, and server settings in my mIRC that took a long time to set up, and I don't want to go through all that crap again. It's not like it would even be very hard, it's just a matter of converting mirc.ini into the proper format for gIRC. And I know that's all there is to it because if you open gIRC using your regular mirc.ini, it will load like regular mIRC instead of gIRC. So I know its all in that little text file.
So a way to import settings from mIRC would be wonderful.
keep Import settings from mIRC
-Install gamers.IRC to a new folder.
-open your mirc.ini with a text editor and search for "[afiles]" and "[rfiles]" and "[pfiles]"
-change these 3 topics to those ones:
-copy this mirc.ini over the mirc.ini that was included within gamers.irc
-run gamers.irc
-hope that it works
