Re: few questions
Thanks for your report.
If you want to change the complete theme (it seems like you want to do this) you should edit the theme file and/or create your own theme. The theme files are located at Gamers.IRC\themes\
If you need more information about mts themes, you can find a help file here:
http://www.mircscripts.org/comments.php?cid=3007
http://www.mircscripts.org/mts/MTS%201. ... erence.txt
/startup_toolbar -r
However 6.00 only supports 1 theme at the moment. So you have to change the theme or create your own one. In the .mts file the line raw.318 <c3>::: End of Whois is for the end of whois. Remove the stuff after the raw.318 and reload the theme. Note: We will update our greyworld theme in every version (so your changes get lost if you don't safe it in a different file), but we cannot create different versions for everyone.
Let me know if I forgot something. If you have questions, just ask.
Not possible as far as I konw. But it should not take that long. Even in channels with more than 500 peoples in, it should take no longer than a second.nicon wrote:disable that on startup irc does /names on each channel, because it takes ages to load crowded channels?
At the moment we don't have an addon for this. Maybe we get one later.get different slaps
alt+k then change the color in the area "Treebar text"1) How to make this black instead of grey?
You have to change the theme. Click on "load theme" in the gamers.irc menubar, select the theme and click file - editHowever now, the join, part, quit, is now known as-msg's are white, which I want to be green :s

Try this command:4) Is it possible to get these default again? (changed by custom theme)
/startup_toolbar -r
You have to edit the theme file for this or create your own theme. See above.+ I want to change the color of my own messages in channels.
Right click into the q-net status window and un-check always connect to Quakenet.+ It connects with my bnc AND to qnet, I only want the bnc-connection though.. How to disable the other one?
I think you had a different theme in your 5.xxIn 5.xx I didn't get this 'end of /whois' and I don't want it now

Will be fixed in our theme in the next version. I think you have to live with it for now.I unchecked 'show MOTD' anyways, why is it still there?
I am not sure what this should be? Does this happen in every channel when you join it?+ when I join a channel I get a weird msg in the window, e.g. '[20:12] § 1050208334' , '[19:36] § 1223155067', etc.. ( = ctrl+k)

Re: few questions
Oh, it is not so hard. I use one myself. An example how it works is here:nicon wrote:And is it possible to get different slaps like for example in nnscript? Probably with some coding skills, but I don't have them, or is there already an add-on or so?
Code: Select all
menu nicklist,query {
-
More slaps
.Rickrolling:me rickrolls $1
.UNIX manual:me slaps $1 around a bit with a small 50lb UNIX manual
.<own>:me slaps $1 around a bit with $$?"... with ...?"
}
Some explanation:
The above code adds a new separator ("-") and a submenu "More slaps" to your nicklist and query context menus. Within that submenu are three items (starting with a dot, marking the submenu level; two dots would be under the previous item with one dot and so on).
An item has the following syntax:
(label):(action)
So, if you choose "Rickrolling" in a query with Chris1-, Gamers.IRC will execute this command:
Code: Select all
/me rickrolls Chris1-
Feel free to ask about all that stuff in our MSL discussion area.

Re: few questions
You need a double click by default to open it. 2 clicks is not possible. But you can change it the way you only need 1 single click: alt+o -> display -> options -> tray -> single clickhow to make girc open from tray with 2 clicks again?
Please talk to the authors of the theme. However, I'm using the blackout.mts at the moment and
For the toolbar:
/toolbar -r
It should reset all the icons.
The strange message when you join:
This is the raw.329. Our theme does not show it. Tell the theme author to remove it in your theme.
Re: few questions
Yep, just put them as one line per slap without the dot then.nicon wrote:Is it also possible to just put all slaps in the existing seperator?

Re: few questions
Sure. You can change the color of the black nicks in the Address Book. (alt+b)
Switch to the tab nick colors and change the black colors. Note: There can be different colors for the nicklist and messages.

Re: few questions
You have to edit the theme file for that. See above. But it's not easy if you don't know what that all is about.
Re: few questions
"<c1>" <- this indicates the start of a color. <c1> is color 1 here. But you can use a number of course for the colors. See ctrl+k for the numbers.
