Text won't show up on options/Settings will NOT save

What operating sytem do you use?

Can you show me a screenshot of the tools and of Gamers.IRC, so that I can see where the text does not appear.

Assuming you're using the latest Gamers.IRC version:

What does $scriptdir say?

Right-click into the server window and choose "Connect to QuakeNet automatically". :)

The empty strings in your /setup?

Well, I was hoping chris1 would say sth about that... maybe we'd wait for him first.

Well, I don't really know why this happens. However, you said, you have a problem with your balloons? You don't want them to show up. Try this:

[i]//set %st_balloon 4

//echo -a %st_balloon[/i]

Should say "4" then. After this exit Gamers.IRC and start it again.

Does

[i]//echo -a %st_balloon[/i]

still return 4?



If you want, you can try to install Gamers.IRC in a new different folder and test if it works there.

Mich würde mal interessieren, ob das nur im Setup ist:

Gib mal [i]"/tools"[/i] ein. Sieht da alles Korrekt aus?



Noch eine Bitte: mach mal [i]alt+r[/i] und wechsle dann in den Reiter [i]"Remote"[/i]. Dann oben auf [i]Options[/i] und den Haken bei "[i]Identifier Warning[/i]" rein. Dann unten auf [i]OK[/i] klicken und nochmal das [i]/setup[/i] aufmachen. Steht nun im Serverfenster irgendwas merkwürdiges?
