I made a few changes in our script. Can you test if this works for you?

Open the mIRC script editor (Alt+R) with gamersirc.grc

use ctrl+a in order to mark everything and replace everything with the content of the attached file.

Click on ok and test if it works. Let us know if there are any issues.

What exactaly are you doing in order to recover your nick? And how can we reproduce this? What network are you connected to?

Ja, also von uns aus wäre das kein Problem. Ich würde da evtl. einen weiteren Auswahl-dialog vorschlagen. Sollte gar nicht mal so viel Aufwand sein. Aber: Wie bereits dieser Auswahldialog darauf hinweist: Windows zickt seit Vista sehr rum, wenn man die Einstellungen nicht unter AppData speichert.

Bei einem regulärem update (von einer zur nächsten Version) bleiben deine scripts und die ownscripts.grc erhalten und geladen.
